Build one specification for the complete press-on nail pack
Use this checklist to prepare a packaging quote and approve the finished combination of nails, holder, card, label and outer package. Keep the decisions in one specification so a box selected from one listing fits the card and product selected elsewhere.
Start with your product URL or sample, sales channel, destination, required quantity, launch date and brand assets. The private label packaging service can help you compare stock packaging, printed components and complete packaging projects.
Confirm dimensions on a drawing or matched sample
Fit information to approve for each component
| Component | Record in the specification | Check in the assembled sample |
| Box or pouch | Material, internal usable size, external size and closure; record dimensions in millimeters. | The product and inserts fit, the closure works and the pack protects the nail decoration. |
| Tray or backing card | Finished width and height, thickness, mounting positions and any hanging hole. | The nails stay positioned and the holder fits inside the outer package. |
| Printed insert | Finished and folded size, paper specification and placement. | Instructions are legible and the insert fits without obstructing the product. |
| Logo or identification label | Finished size, shape, material, adhesive and intended surface. | The label adheres, remains readable and does not hide required product information. |
Check both the number and its unit. If a variant menu and description give different dimensions, request a confirmed drawing before approving that item. A photograph alone cannot establish the internal usable size. Compare nail boxes and backing cards as a matched pair.
Define what each purchase quantity buys
- Nail sets: record the number of sellable sets and what each set includes.
- Boxes and cards: state pieces per purchase unit and whether the minimum applies per design, size or printed version.
- Labels: confirm the number of labels, the supply format and any minimum for each artwork version.
- Complete packaging sets: list every component and its count so you can calculate how many finished nail packs it supports.
A cart quantity of one may represent a bundle of components. Have the quote state both the purchase quantity and the physical piece count. Packaging minimums are specific to the selected items; the nail production MOQ does not establish the printing MOQ.
Calculate how many components each finished pack uses, then agree any extra quantity you want for samples, packing trials or replacements. Record the remainder separately so the next order does not assume all components run out together.
Approve the print proof before production
- Freeze the content: check the brand name, logo, SKU, product description and final instruction text. Confirm the target language and market-specific information for review.
- Review the production layout: ask for the dieline, safe areas, bleed and print specifications for the chosen material. Confirm which surfaces will be printed.
- Check color and finish: agree how color will be reviewed and whether the project needs a physical print sample. Screen appearance alone may not show the final material and finish.
- Check functional details: test any barcode or QR code at its final size and review folds, hanging holes, seals and label placement.
- Record approval: retain the final artwork file, version, date and the approved sample or proof with the itemized quote.
Approve the pack and its fulfillment instructions together
Assemble the actual nail set, holder, instructions and outer package. Check movement, closure, readability and the opening experience. Record the packing sequence and which component belongs to each SKU or variant. Confirm quantities and any substitutions before shipping.
If 365nails will fulfill individual customer orders, confirm the applicable branding plan, warehouse receipt and packaging-stock rules through the dropshipping service. Distinguish custom manufacturing, label application and using your own finished packaging in the quote.
Send a quote-ready checklist
Send the component list, confirmed dimensions and units, physical quantities, artwork status and deadline through customization. Request separate confirmation of item minimums, print-proof steps, production timing and shipping. Complete the fit and proof review before approving the packaging run.
